Good News to Share ｜ 2025 City of Hayward Earth Day Art Contest

On April 22, the City of Hayward held a special awards ceremony at City Hall to celebrate the winners of its annual Earth Day Art Contest.

This year, students from **Yueming Art Studio** delivered an outstanding performance! Out of over 600 submissions from K–12 students, five of our young artists were selected for top honors—earning 5 of the only 20 awards given across the city.

好消息分享｜2025 海沃市地球日繪畫比賽，海沃市於4月22日在市政廳舉行了隆重的頒獎典禮。

今年的比賽中，Yueming Art Studio 的學生表現非常出色！有五位學生從六百多件來自 K-12 年級的作品中脫穎而出，榮獲了全市僅有的二十個獎項中的五個。他們分別是：

Jimmy 榮獲一等獎

Caden榮獲二等獎

**Earth Day 2025 – Creative Voices for the Planet from Yueming Art Studio**

This Earth Day, we are thrilled to share some exciting news from Yueming Art Studio—our young artists are using their creativity to speak up for the Earth!

Yueming Art Studio, won honorable awards in the 41st 24th Hayward City Earth Day Poster and Writing Competition!

月明艺术工作室，在第41届的24年海洪德市地球日海報和寫作比賽中荣获大獎！

Congratulations to the children of Yueming Art Studio for winning the grand prize in the 41st Hayward Earth Day Poster and Writing Competition 2024: Yuchen Lee (first prize), Angela Le (second prize), Jimmy Su (first prize), Betty Chen (second prize). This competition received a total of 487 entries. Among the ten poster winners in grades K-12, four are children from our studio. On 4/16/2024, the Hayward Government held a grand award ceremony for the winners. The mayor personally presented the awards to our award-winning children and the instructors of the art studio.

熱烈祝賀月明艺术工作室的小朋友，在第41届的2024 年海沃德市地球日海報和寫作比賽中荣获大獎：Yuchen Lee（获一等獎），Angela Le（获二等奖），Jimmy Su（获一等奖），Betty Chen （获二等奖）。此次比賽一共收到四百八十七件參賽作品，K-12年級十名海报獲獎者中，有四位是我們畫室的小朋友。4/16/2024 7:00pm，Hayward 市政府为獲獎者舉辦了隆重頒獎典禮，市長親自為我們獲獎的小朋友和藝術工作室的指導老師們，進行了頒獎

4th Anniversary of New Downtown Library

Yueming Art Studio has attracted the attention of Hayward Library and the Hayward Art Committee and was invited by Hayward Library to hold a children's painting exhibition in celebration of the fourth anniversary of the new Hayward Library. The exhibition period is 8/30-9/2/ 2023

Art at the Library: Meet Miró

藝術在圖書館：遇見米羅

Led by: Berne Chu & Tina Chu (assistant teacher)

The high school student teaching practice and community service art team of Yueming Art Studio, led by high school student Berne Chu, is enthusiastic about serving the Hayward community and bringing art to the community! In June this summer, the team collaborated with Hayward Library to successfully hold the "Art at the Library: Meet Miro" event, which was well received by children, parents, and the community.
